Sushi Training Course

Sushi Training was held by the department of Food and Beverage Management, with in cooperation with Ekol Food. R&D Chief of Ekol Food, Barış Sönmez Işık, who attended the Culinary Practices course as a guest, gave general information about Sushi which date back about a thousand years ago. on Friday, 21st December. After general knowledge, he introduced the ingredients used in making sushi.

In addition to our students, the Vice Rector of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University. Dr. Prof. Dr. Bakiye Uğur and the academic staff of our faculty, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Adnan Menderes University also attended the training. After the training, our students, vice-rectors and faculty members showed their skills in sushi making.

Vice-Rector Prof.Dr. Prof. Dr. Bakiye Ugur and the Vice Dean of Faculty of Tourism and Head of Food and Beverage Management Assoc. Dr. Burhan Kılıç presented a plaque to Barış Sönmez Işık and Ekol Food family in memory of the day.
